Planning the long drive

It's a long day in the car, so plan on an overnight or a very early start. Arriving the afternoon before you ski? Pick up after 3 PM the day before your rental starts — no extra charge. Stop by on your way in and you're ready for first chair.

Winter driving

US-64 crosses mountain passes on the way in from Taos and through Cimarron Canyon. Check conditions on NMRoads before you leave and give yourself extra time when it's snowing.

Parking and the shuttle lot

Our shop has its own lot for rental customers. Park there while you pick up or return your gear. It isn't for all-day parking.

For the day, park in the shuttle lot just behind our shop and ride the shuttle to the mountain.

Lot and shuttle details can change through the season, so check angelfireresort.com before you go.

For lift tickets, lodging, and road conditions, see our trip resources.

Why the shuttle lot works in your favor

The shuttle lot is right behind us. On your first morning, park once, walk over in street shoes, and come to the counter. Your gear is already sized, tuned, and staged, so you give your name, try your boots, and catch the shuttle.

At the end of the day, leave your skis or board with us. Overnight storage is free with every rental, so you're not hauling gear back to the lot or onto the shuttle. The next morning, it's racked and ready.

Picking up your gear

Gear reserved online for Angel Fire is picked up at the counter of our Angel Fire shop. The address is 40 N Angel Fire Rd, Angel Fire, NM 87710. Pick up after 3 PM the day before your rental starts — no extra charge.

Reserve at least 24 hours ahead and we'll have everything ready. No deposit, and you pay at pickup.
