Every rental is tuned before pickup. Your own skis and boards are welcome too, whether or not you rent from us. Drop them off on your way to the lift and pick them up when they're ready.
Hot Wax
A fresh coat of wax so your skis or board run the way they did on day one.

Machine base grind, edge work, and wax. For gear that's had a hard season or hasn't been touched in a few.

Core shots, gouges, and scrapes filled and leveled before they get worse.

Bindings set to your height, weight, boot sole, and skier type — the safety check worth doing every season.

Tuning
How it works
- Where
- Taos Ski Valley, at 101 Sutton Place, Taos Ski Valley, NM 87525. Angel Fire offers hot wax and edge & wax at 40 N Angel Fire Rd, Angel Fire, NM 87710; full tunes and binding work are Taos-only.
- When
- During shop hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM daily at Taos Ski Valley, 7:30 AM – 7 PM daily at Angel Fire. Drop off in the morning on your way to the lift, or after last chair for an overnight turn.
- Your own gear
- Welcome, whether or not you rent from us. Bring skis, boards, or both.
- Boot fitting
- We don't offer custom boot fitting. We do set bindings to your boot sole and skier type as part of a DIN check.
- Groups
- Bringing a group's gear in at once? Call or text the shop ahead and we'll plan the turnaround with you.
